Magnetic resonance imaging is a medical imaging technique used to create pictures of the brain using strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients, and radio waves. Your doctor may request special types of MRIs such as DTI, SWI, NeuroQuant Sequencing, or fMRI which may be reviewed in office by our team of physicians.
Not every patient requires an MRI and not all neurological conditions can be assessed with MRI. If you have a previous brain MRI, please bring the report and disc to your appointment.
